Sailors delight!*
The dormant sailor in me delighted in the vibrant red-orange-purple sky this evening! I sailed along on the 101 occasionally watching the sunset in my rear-view mirror. Clearly, I couldn’t capture the deepest reds at 60 mph! I could photograph at 5 mph (kids – don’t try this at home!).
By the time I reached home (central LA), the soft purple and deep blues accented the fading red.
What a sailors’ treat!
